Built-in bookcase addition in basement. All material was supplied by Sears Trostel Lumber. The built-in was designed and built by the homeowners. The project was constructed of knotty alder plywood and mouldings and Decore-Ative Specialties custom doors in knotty alder. The drawer boxes were built of Baltic Birch plywood and the slides were purchased from the store on Riverside. The entire project was stained with a custom mixed reddish stain and finished with a polyurethane. Rustic black door pulls were added to the doors and an edge banding was applied to the shelves. 
 
The plywood was 3/4" knotty alder comp core and 1/8" Baltic Birch (for backing and drawer boxes). The mouldings used: crown moulding (CR0049) and cap moulding (CP0133) for an applied decorative accent running vertical along the shelves.
