Environmental Responsibility

At Sears Trostel, we are committed to environmentally friendly practices.  We source our wood from responsible saw mills and other suppliers.  Reclaimed barn wood and snow fence posts have a natural weathered beauty and many of our slabs are made from urban lumber – trees that were removed from yards and fields locally. While using this reclaimed wood adds a beautiful accent in your home, it"s also recycling material that would ordinarily be thrown away, reducing stress on our landfills and preventing new trees from being cut down. We also strongly believe in the philosophy of Lean Manufacturing, and we strive to streamline our process at every step, reducing waste and cost. All of these practices allow us bring you a superior product while still being responsible stewards of our natural resources.
